Follow the reporting back to its sources.
Each story identifies its author, publication date and source record. News briefs point to original reporting; our own reports carry their full text.
The source stream
Publisher headlines link directly to the original article. RivalShot briefs are short original summaries of the linked source. Manufacturer announcements and association coverage are labeled by source type. Channels come from links on publishers’ official websites.
These source items are distinct from RivalShot’s authored editions. Source publication dates remain separate from the dates we checked them. Items older than 45 days stay in the source archive instead of the latest stream.
Dates carry meaning
A new site build does not make an old edition new. Archives retain the dates of their reporting.
Corrections stay visible
A corrected edition explains the change and links to the preceding edition. Readers can follow both.
Reporting and guidance
Law and policy reporting links to the record it discusses. A news report does not establish how a law applies to an individual situation.
